Mount Rundle

This shot of Mount Rundle was taken from a look-out adjacent to the Banff campgrounds.  I wrote about it when I saw it from the back the other day.

Mount Rundle is a classic example of the of differing limestones layers that were deposited during the Paleozoic age.  And yes, the top was an ancient sea bed.

The Bow River is in the foreground.
